Privacy Policy — Paw Guardians

Paw Guardians (“the app”) is developed by Göktürk Göcen. This policy explains what data is handled when you play.

Sign-in and your account

To save and restore your shelter across devices, the app signs you in using Firebase Authentication (a Google service). You can sign in with Apple, with Google, or as an anonymous guest:

  • Sign in with Apple / Google: the provider gives the app your email address and name, which are used only to create and identify your account.
  • Continue as guest: an anonymous account is created with no name or email — only a random account identifier.

In every case a Firebase user ID is created to link your save to your account. Firebase is provided by Google: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

Cloud save (Google Cloud Firestore)

Your game progress and settings are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, linked to your Firebase user ID, so your shelter syncs across your devices and can be restored after reinstalling. A copy is also cached locally on your device for offline play. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows optional, opt-in rewarded ads via Google AdMob. To do this, AdMob may process your device advertising identifier (IDFA), IP address, and ad-interaction data to deliver and measure ads. On iOS you are asked for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency); if you decline, you will see non-personalized ads and the app works fully. In the EEA/UK you can review your advertising consent choices any time from the app’s Settings → “Advertising Privacy Choices”. See Google's policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

In-app purchases (Apple StoreKit / RevenueCat)

Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate and manage purchases; RevenueCat receives your purchase/receipt data and an app-user identifier (your account ID). See https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

Data retention and deletion

We keep your cloud save and account until you delete them. You can delete your account and cloud save at any time inside the app: open Settings → “Delete Account & Cloud Save”. This permanently removes your game save from Firestore and deletes your authentication account. For Apple/Google accounts, simply signing out keeps your cloud save so you can sign back in later; deleting the account is the permanent option.

Children

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.

Your choices

You can reset advertising personalization in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, review EEA/UK ad consent from the app’s Settings, manage purchases in your Apple ID account, and delete your account and cloud data from the app’s Settings.
